Anyone interested in doula training can check out our training links to choose their training organization of choice, or can contact us at doulasofregina@gmail.com for any specific questions regarding local training.

Any local training opportunities will become posted on the Doulas of Regina main page.

PROCESS TO BECOMING A MEMBER

1. Contact the membership coordinator, Cheryl Lloyd.

2. Submit your $35 fee to Cheryl.

3. Sign your membership agreement.

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR MEMBERSHIP

1. 1.-an online support forum through our google group
   
   

2. 2.-learning opportunities for continuing education (breastfeeding inservices, presentations from local organizations, perspectives on the local birthing scene)
   
   

3. 3.-your page on the Doulas of Regina website
   
   

4. 4.-unlimited, free access to online resources for doulas *coming soon*
   
   

5. 5.-monthly meetings
   
   

6. 6.-opportunities for speaking to the public (if you wish), volunteering, and opportunities to meet potential clients
   
   

7. 7.-a membership wallet card
   
   

Once those basic membership requirements have been fulfilled, we ask that doulas participate in our online support forum.  We ask that doulas take part in promoting the organization in some way.  Our organization is run by doulas for doulas, with the expectation that we promote your doula practice in exchange for helping us get the word out about doulas.

Our membership is currently working with the RQHR to build a positive relationship and educate and promote the benefits of doulas.  We welcome new doulas who are looking for mentoring or apprenticing for their training requirements as well as aspiring doulas.  Doulas do not have to post profiles on the website, but it is a benefit to attracting clientele.
